A FreeRate contract enables you to give free internet access to an unlimited number of guest for a fixed monthly fee. Essentially the HOTSPLOTS FreeRate includes two benefits:

  1. A flatrate for Free Tickets.
  2. The option to choose the For-Free Option (in german: "Biz kostenlos") as online tariff.

 

Any online tariff can be chosen in combination with a FreeRate contract.

  • The For-Free Option (Biz kostenlos) allows all users in range of the wireless network to register and use the WLAN hotspot free of charge. On the one hand, this has the advantage that the user can get access to the internet without your help. On the other hand it might be unfavorable, that not only your guests but everyone in range of the wireless network can use your WLAN hotspot.
  • A Biz rate for online registered users in combination with Free tickets for the own customers kills two birds with one stone: You generate additional value and offer best service to your customers. Neighbours and potential customers are not locked out but pointed to your service. Without any effort you can help others in your neighbourhood and make money by the way.
    On the login screen of your hotspot you can promote the free service for your guests as big as you like.
  • With the online tariff HOTSPLOTS V.I.P. in combination with a FreeRate contract you can hand out as many Free Tickets to your customers and guests as needed. Without such a location ticket no one can use your WLAN hotspot.

Contract conclusion

The easiest way to close the FreeRate contract is to do it online: If you choose "Biz kostenlos" in the hotspot settings in the customer area of this website, you are directed to the webform to close the contract online. The FreeRate contract is activated instantly. You can change the hotspot's online tariff later at any time.

FreeRate pricing

Pricing terms are given in the HOTSPLOTS Biz price list (in german: Preisliste HOTSPLOTS Biz). To cover all different types of hotspot locations with one pricing model, the fee depends on the number of WLAN stations (WLAN router, access points and repeaters) and for wired networks on the number of used LAN pots. In case you need an unusual high amount of WLAN stations or LAN ports relatively to the expected usage, please contact out sales team.
