For larger installations

The HOTSPLOTS Appliance is made for larger sites like student residences, large clinics and hotels.

Compared to WLAN routers the x86 server's higher performance results in higher data throughput, allows more parallel users and the use of more complex routing software. Typical specifications:

1. Max. 1000 users can be logged in at thesame time.
2. Data throughput with VPN routing > 100 MBit/s.
3. Load balancing up to 10 internet connections.
4. Fair-NET: Available bandwidth is shared dynamically and fairbetween users.
5. 19'' server, one height unit, power consumtion about 36 W, SSD, LCD for status information
