openVPN technology for a safe network

HOTSPLOTS runs several VPN servers  (VPN = virtual private network). On the basis of openVPN we offer two security services for hotspot operators and users:

1. VPN-Routing secures the identity of the hotspot operators. It can easily be activated in the administration webinterface of the HOTSPLOTS firmware.
2. HOTSPLOTS VPN enables you to establish a secure connection via Wireless LAN. You can download the openVPN client software either from the project's website openVPN.net or from us:

• Windows: openVPN GUI for Windows
• Linux: openvpn-2.0.tar.gz
• Mac OS X: openVPN auf Max OS X (external site)
